Project Manager/Producer
The Project Manager (PM) is an area leader for a product in development. The PM is responsible for ensuring the project team delivers their product(s) on time and within budget, while working with the team leads to create the highest possible user experience. They are responsible for creating the production plan for the project, establishing milestones and executing against this plan by prioritizing production deadlines, managing risks and reacting quickly to challenges.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Define engagement practices and processes: Ensure all workflow is clearly defined, processes are documented, and staff trained in expectations on the workflow.
- Proactively identifies risks associated with meeting project milestones; ensures necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve difficulties which may impede progress or compromise achievement of project objectives.
- Manage clients and business development.
- Create and update information to provide ‘real-time' visibility of shared development efforts.
- Identifies task-related processes to improve efficiency.
- Identify and manage external developers and contractors to contractual requirements.
- Management of teams focusing on game content, production and services.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience with IT based projects.
- Bachelor's degree, PMP Designation or equivalent.
- Experience managing internal and external project teams.
- Strong project management leadership experience; an expert in taking a project from concept to delivery.
- Experience with business process re-engineering and leading production process best practices.
Understanding of production tools, processes and pipelines is a big plus.
- Experience managing teams.
- Extensive line management experience.
- Experience shipping AAA quality games a strong plus.
