Job Description:
Summary of position: The Group Finance Manager - Business Development will partner with the Consumer and Online Business Development, Emerging Markets, and Integration business teams. The role will focus on deal valuation review, defining and implementing standard business development processes, and supporting integration activities.
Responsibilities:
o Partner with C&O Business Development leadership, Emerging Markets Lead, and Integration GM.
o Analyzing opportunities and target firms in their wider commercial and strategic environment including industry structure and trends, market-sizing, competitor benchmarking and value chain analysis
o Review and prepare valuation models supporting potential transactions.
o Lead financial integration activities related to completed acquisitions and partnerships.
o Driving business development process improvement initiatives.
o Contribute and support worldwide business insight initiatives.
o Establishing a strong partnership with the C&O, BG and SMSG Finance teams.
o Travel - up to 25% required.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in finance OR accounting OR business analysis
BS/BA degree from accredited university
Preferred Qualifications:
o Advanced business degree, MBA and/or CPA preferred.
o Proven track record in operating in matrix organizations and collaboration across multiple teams to accomplish organizational goals.
o Ability to identify issues and quickly develop solutions in a fast paced and changing environment.
o The ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization.
o Prior experience or deep understanding of the Online Services Business beneficial.
