Are you ready to help us bring parallel computing to the masses and allow scientists and engineers to solve problems with Microsoft HPC technology at a whole new scale of size and complexity?
The ISC team in the Technical Computing organization is looking for a Senior Development Engineer in Test to take responsibility for the qualification and test automation efforts for language and compiler features for our parallel computing platform. You'll participate in specification and design reviews and will qualify language functionality and develop comprehensive automated tests for this area. You'll have an opportunity to be the first developer to try new parallel programming constructs and language optimizations and to determine how to thoroughly leverage and qualify them. Apply your Windows system and QA skills while broadening your knowledge of Windows HPC Server and other cluster computing technologies. Work on a highly motivated team that includes the developers that pioneered the addition of parallel capabilities to MATLAB. This position is located in Cambridge MA at the Microsoft New England Regional Development facility in the heart of one of the world's foremost technical hubs (neighbors include MIT and Google). Good debugging skills, ability to apply and adapt existing automation tools, and build automation tools as needed are a must.
Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience in the development of test automation and test automation frameworks and product qualification.
• BA/BS or MS in Computer science or related degree.
• Experience with one or more .NET languages and a high level language for scientific applications (e.g. M, Python)
• Experience in qualifying programming languages and compilers.
• Experience with parallel computing a plus.
