Role Summary
The Southeast Asia (SEA) People and Organization Capability Consultant (POCC) is responsible for driving the SEA People Agenda in partnership with the SEA HR Director. The POCC will partner with the in country HR teams and SEA Business Leaders to drive the execution of talent, culture, leadership, learning and organizational development solutions across South East Asia to meet the ambitious visions for business growth.
SEA is a high-growth multi-country area with subsidiaries ranging from emerging to mature. The role offers a challenging opportunity to drive change and build organization capacity to support the business by tapping into the immense potential of the market. The POCC for SEA will also be responsible for developing and leading talent strategies for the subsidiaries of; Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore (sub only), Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
This position will drive the SEA CapStone project and will bring sucession planning to life in the SEA subsidiaries. Also within the SEA subsidiaries, this role will own the on-boarding of all Senior Leadership positions. The POCC will be an active member of the SEA COE Team, SEA D&I Committee and the SEA HR Team.
Key Accountabilities
• Drive an integrated talent management process for SEA through project CapStone
• Run NGOL and HiPo processes and utilization
• Faciliate Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on-boarding
• Manage external partners for training delivery
• Coordinate training needs analysis for SEA
• Talent Management (Hot People/Hot Jobs)
• Define the circulumn for SEA People Manager Coummunity (PMC)
• Design competency building for SEA HR team (train the trainer and SEA learning weeks)
Key Success Criteria
• Successful growth in all subsidiaries
• All SLT positions open for less than 60 days (open to new start)
• Effective relationships with key stakeholder SEA HR Director, Subsidiary HR Directors, Subsidiary HR
Teams and Sub GMs
• Achievement of personal and team objectives
• Regular reporting
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Deep understanding of talent management and how it is a critical strategy that allows businesses to build a
strong foundation for growth
• Collaboration and Execution - building partnerships, driving execution and delivering measureable results
• Systems Thinking - ability to apply and combine both a systemic and programmatic approach to the
identification and implementation OD interventions
• Excellent Communication Skills especially while dealing with non English speaking clients
• Coaching and facilitation skills – one to one and one to many
• Ability to influence people at various levels (senior leaders as well as employees) without authority or power
• Exposure to operating in emerging market environment will be an advantage
• Experience in handling a multi-country and multi location client base and willingness to travel
• Degree in HR or Degree in Business Management/Humanities with advanced qualifications in Org Behavior/
Industrial or Organization Psychology/OD will be preferred
