Key Responsibilities
To drive sales opportunities with the ISV, connecting to sales engines and processes in both SMSP and EPG, focused on Azure, SQL Enterprise Ed and SharePoint.
To articulate new Microsoft business priorities to the partner which helps them take the lead in preparing for relevant area readiness. This gives the partner the competitive edge with early adoption to new technologies to stay ahead of the Competition (Azure, SQL Enterprise, SharePoint)
To support partners in mid to long term business planning as well as capacity planning through PBPs (Partner Business Plans - what you are committing to do within the fiscal year).
Together with the partner, drive the development of the Partner Solutions Plan - the sales execution framework in a given fiscal year. This sets up the sales engagement framework between Microsoft and the partner.
Be the internal broker in order to support the partner with the required resources when needed - including resources needed to help in the sales cycle in order to close deals.
The ISV PAM needs to work with the ISVs to build applications for the future of the Microsoft platform business while driving sales today with partners, focusing on their quota, pipeline management and actually selling with the partner.
Engaging and making connections with neutral and competitive technology focused communities and influencers.
Participating actively in the local developer community through blogs, newsletters, meetings and other activities.


Requirements:
5 - 8 years of related experience
University degree preferred (Marketing, Business, IT)
Experience with Solution Selling - understanding the business needs of the partner and how the technology helps the end customer and solves their needs.
Demonstrated hands-on software development experience with current and emerging Web/Windows technologies is required; .NET Framework and Visual Studio + other Microsoft technologies such as Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint, Smart Clients, Microsoft Office, etc.
Passion for driving results and seeing projects through to completion
Ability to interface with partners at all management levels
Knowledge of sales management, negotiations, marketing, planning and development
A blend of passion, optimism, customer advocacy, curiosity and creativity
Superb communication and cross-group collaboration skills
Proven track record of delivering high quality presentations
Fluency in English language
Experience using non-Microsoft technologies (PHP, Flex/Flash, Linux, Eclipse, Java, Ruby) a plus
