Supplier Information Systems Manager:

The Entertainment & Devices Manufacturing group is looking for a strong team player to help take E&D Mfg to the next level. The Supplier Information Systems Manager role is responsible for end to end program management of our factory and repair vendors' information systems programs. We are looking for a person with a combination of program management skills, consumer electronics experience, and an IT/Operations background

To be successful, the ideal candidate must be a focused self-starter who is able to define and take an active leadership role in multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, able to think and act strategically and to be able to develop productive and collaborative working relationships. Outstanding analytical, problem solving and project management skills are a must, as is the ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas.

Responsibilities:
• Define, document and communicate Microsoft's Information Systems Requirements to hardware suppliers.
• Program Manage Microsoft specific Information Systems activities internal to the suppliers' ecosystem.
• Serve as the business team's central point of contact for supplier integration communications
• Partner closely with the IS org, which manages the B2B integration work.
• Audit suppliers' IT tools, practices and processes; including creating, executing and communicating results of systems production readiness review plans
• Manage the root cause analysis process, and implementation & verification of corrective action plans when systems issues occur
• Define and document processes, tools and scorecard for measuring and communicating suppliers' performance against SOW and SLAs
• Program Manage suppliers' systems work related to key initiatives or Microsoft requested systems enhancements.
• Work with cross functional teams to implement automated, standardized and reliable business metrics and analytical reporting solutions.
• Participate in key Microsoft initiatives, providing best practice reference & thought leadership in defining processes and related tool investment options (MQA, Inventory Automation, EPIM, etc.)
• Review critical documentation (requirements, design, project schedules, etc.) to ensure project proceeds in a manner that will meet MFG IT requirements.
• Own communication and integration of requirements with suppliers

Qualifications Should Include:

• BS/BA degree in Business/Information Systems or equivalent coupled with 8+ years of applicable work experience
• Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
• Excellent project management skills using SDLC methodologies
• A self-starter that seeks direction and input when needed, but drives to completion on complex tasks
• Prefer experience in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing environment
• Experience leading global virtual teams
• Strong understanding of relational database design and experience with the full MSFT BI stack, experience with Data Quality tools and concepts preferred
• Ability to prioritize demands to maximize value-add output
• Strong collaboration, problem resolution, and decision-making skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to interface with senior management
