The US SMS&P Marketing team is looking for a Senior Marketer with demonstrated experience in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans for our corporate segment. There are 18,000 businesses in the US with approx. 500 to 3000 employees that represent nearly $2b in revenue. Focusing on our Application Platform solutions, the corporate segment marketing manager will sit at the center of a complex ecosystem, acting as key influencer and decision maker marketing activities targeting these customers.
The successful candidate will possess domain expertise in marketing around optimizing a value proposition for true customer impact through a coordinated approach of direct and channel led marketing, along with superior collaborative and program management skills to orchestrate execution across a matrixed organization.
This role has accountability for pipeline, revenue, scorecard attainment for Microsoft SQL Server, other application platform products and all up segment customer satisfaction. You will be responsible to:
- Create the customer segment marketing plan that supports attainment of pipeline targets and segment scorecard metrics
- Develop a deep understanding of segment customer customers' needs and perceptions in the productivity and collaboration space.
- Manage the cross functional v-team of marketers to deliver against execution details within the marketing plan
- Communicate project results, status and adjustments in consistent business rhythm
- Identify key customer targets and opportunities for Microsoft SQL Server growth and competitive strength
- Partner with BG BMO to ensure solution value propositions are optimized and delivered as execution plan requires.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of functional experience in marketing and/or product management is required. The candidate will have successful working knowledge of the Microsoft organization, and proven ability both to lead and work collaboratively within virtual teams. The right candidate will have a blend of marketing and project management skills coupled with tenacity for execution and delivery. Applicant must demonstrate strong oral and written communications skills. Applicant needs to have a proven track record in project management, meeting objectives and leading cross functional teams. Candidate should have the ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment.
