If so, then you’re the person we’re looking for, and we want you to join us as our new Development Manager in the Games Test Organization (GTO). This is a higher level position that requires substantial experience and proven planning, design, communication and development prowess. Key deliverables will include a great roadmap for advancement of people, processes and tools to strengthen GTO’s efficiency and enable an even higher level of excellence in our crafts. We are seeking someone who has the right DNA for both Development and for Testing, so you can architect smart Test solutions for our large portfolio of titles and services. You’ll work closely with a Director and a suite of Test Managers with lots of experience in the entertainment software space. GTO is a large US and international group with interconnected systems that need to work together seamlessly. Our group has a wide variety of talented resources for your team to engage with, and you’ll need to use those organizational agility and interpersonal skills you have grown over the years. We have an interesting array of tools and processes in place today, and we’re looking for you to provide additional creative leadership to integrate and improve our systems further. Your ability to recruit great talent and grow teams to accomplish these goals, and work across teams is vital. We have a broad range of partnerships within our business, and we value your ability to learn, listen and help multiple teams.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have an engineering degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with at least 8-10 years of development experience and team management.
Proven language skills in C++, C#, WPF and WCF, and experience with scripting languages like LUA, Python, Ruby or Java Script.
Direct experience with Agile methodology is required, and a demonstrated ability to manage progress across multiple technologies simultaneously.
Past project work should include infrastructure and pipeline development.
Candidates should have a history of working with a variety of products and services and related testing tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, mentorship and administrative skills are required.
A passion for games and entertainment related technologies is preferred.
