Want to work on the Windows Phone UI rendering and composition? Interested in graphics and rendering in the mobile space?
The Windows Phone Shell team is looking for a technically minded software developer to help us deliver an amazing UI experience for the phone. Our team owns the rendering layer between the application/shell frameworks and the low level graphics APIs. Our team emphasizes performance and rendering quality aiming to deliver extremely smooth animations and responsive UI at all times. We work to get the most out of mobile GPUs and work closely with the graphics team to ensure our UI frameworks are making most efficient use of resources.
We're looking for a candidate who has passion for graphics and UI technologies and brings strong technical and design skills to the team. Responsibilities include design, development and documentation of new rendering features in addition to performance tuning and debugging. Candidates should have solid design skills and be capable of low level debugging in addition to a minimum of 5 years development experience working with C\C++(C# is a plus). Development experience with graphics technologies is desirable. A BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.
