The MCB marketing group is looking for a strong, experienced consumer marketer with integrated marketing, advertising, promotional and production experience to help drive our global marketing efforts. Responsibilities:
Help develop and execute consumer marketing campaigns for Windows phone including integrated promotions, advertising, digital marketing and media management.
Explore multi-media opportunities across platforms including TV, digital and experiential marketing
Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for services such as Marketplace (app store) and My Phone (auto back-up)
Build “sell in” materials for key partners, internal and external communities to get them excited about Windows phone
Collaborate with product management teams to generate positioning and messaging using insights gleaned from research, observation, experience and input from multiple sources inside and outside of Microsoft
Work with worldwide teams to deeply understand regional requirements and effectively meet the needs of Microsoft subsidiaries to drive Windows phone growth in mature and emerging markets.
Drive a continuous improvements process for in-market impact, ROI, and customer satisfaction across consumer marketing campaigns and programs.
Outcomes You Will Drive:
Windows phone awareness and consideration. Build momentum to new versions, phones and services.
Increased feature usage and overall consideration for Windows phones and services.
Increased intent to purchase across segments and high yield on demand generation and direct response campaigns.
Innovation and efficiency through highly immersive globally integrated marketing campaigns.
Guide audience marketing metrics, scorecard, dashboard(s), and best practices.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate has excellent consumer marketing strategy and execution skills and experience. A proven ability to utilize deep customer understanding and compelling marketing strategy to focus and drive the business across internal and external partners. You have a track record of building scalable marketing strategy and executing on your strategies with passion, precision and excellence. You think creatively about customer/business problems and generate innovative solutions. You can deal with ambiguity and multiple partners. You get groundbreaking work out of creative agencies and have experience producing or overseeing marcom execution (tv, print, digital) and innovative media partnerships.
Candidates should have an MBA in marketing, or equivalent, with at least 7 years of leadership experience in promotions, advertising, marketing communications, and related disciplines. You must have experience in driving successful market research and cross-functional integrated marketing programs. In addition, advertising agency and production experience is a plus.
