Role Purpose
The Financial Compensation Analyst (FCA) is responsible for providing direction and support to the sales and services organizations regarding Microsoft’s incentive compensation plan. This includes managing the group’s quotas and the incentive compensation program and providing analysis to subsidiary leaders on the impact of the compensation plan on their business. In addition the FCA will be responsible for communication, training, and support related to the incentive compensation plan for sales managers. The FCA is also a responsible for collaborating across the Finance, Sales Operations, HR, Services and Incentive Compensation organizations.

Team/Department Mission
The World Wide (WW) Incentive Compensation Team is responsible for the design, policy development and implementation of all metric-based compensation plans at Microsoft. We support compensation programs for over 10,000 people around the world. The Financial Compensation Analyst shared services organization focuses on the implementation, support and training related to incentive compensation programs for participants in Microsoft’s incentive programs located in subsidiaries around the world.

Key Accountabilities
The Senior Financial Compensation Analyst (FCA) is responsible for providing direction and support to the Consumer & Online (C&O) sales organization regarding Microsoft’s incentive compensation plan. This includes leading the management of the group’s quotas and the incentive compensation program in the subsidiary, and providing analysis to subsidiary leaders on the impact of the compensation plan on their business. In addition the FCA will be responsible for communication, training, and support related to the incentive compensation plan for sales managers.

The Sr. FCA will also be responsible for managing the C&O Incentive Compensation Operations integration into SMSG IC, leveraging and sharing best practices with other parts of WWIC.

Responsibilities:
Manage the C&O Incentive Compenation Operations
Collaborate with rest of team to together drive the compensation payout process for a region ensuring accurate and timely bonus payments.
Partner with sales leadership to ensure that plan participants are assigned the most effective incentive plan for driving Microsoft’s business during the quota setting process.
Together with the Quota Analyst, manage the integrity of quota assignments during the annual planning process.
Respond to escalated issues and questions concerning implementation of the incentive plan and policies.
Ensure compliance with the business rules defined by WW Incentive Compensation.
Manage the ongoing link between quotas and geo/locations, roles, and personnel information.
Monitor and validate data integrity and accuracy to ensure correct and equitable payouts.
Conduct extensive cross group collaboration with Finance, Sales Operations and the HR community.
Direct the efforts of junior incentive compensation team members in order to manage participant data in internal tools, perform attainment calculations and enter adjustments.

Key Success Criteria
Ensure successful and on time completion of the quota setting and incentive compensation payment processes for the subsidiary that they are responsible for.
Provide valuable business insight to business partners in HR, Finance and sales regarding the effectiveness of the compensation program in their area.
Ability to learn quickly, make important decisions about compensation quickly and in accordance with policy.
Comfortable with financial analysis and complex concepts related to finance and compensation.

Salary package:- £45,000-55,000 plus bonus and excellent benefit package
