Senior BI Manager
Do you love data? Do you like making decisions based upon data? Helping an organization make decisions based on data? Want to lead the charge on driving Business Intelligence (BI) for Entertainment & Devices (E&D) CSS? If yes, we’re looking for a leader that will create and automate BI for the E&D division of CSS, from quality of service to how customers use our support products, we need strategy and action. You will lead a team that covers both product feedback and analytics, helping form the reports and delivering data that our various businesses need.
Job Overview:
The BI Manager is a senior role responsible for defining the future strategy for BI E&D CSS. The role is accountable to the business stakeholders across E&D to ensure the quality that is received is accurate, effective, and timely. The role is accountable for ensuring the business has the data folks need on the ground floor as well as executives. No role too big or too small. Data for all.
Required qualifications include:
• Implementing a self-serve reporting strategy.
• 3+ years BI development experience, including an understanding of the business requirements
• Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and Reporting Services tool experience
• Strong project management and organizational skills including the ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
• A proven ability to collaborate well with cross functional groups and virtual teams to effectively solve technical challenges at the product level.
• Effective problem solving and analytical skills.
• Meeting facilitation and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications include:
• Agile software development practice experience (e.g. SCRUM)
• Broad OLAP and ETL tool experience
• eCommerce, online subscription or internet consumer business BI solution experience
• A BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
