The SQL Server Data Quality group is building a brand new state of the art data quality product. If you are passionate about data mining, data quality and solving complex problems, we are offering a unique opportunity for an experienced engineer to help ensure the new data quality product meets the highest standards.
As a Software Design Engineer in Test in the SQL Service Data Quality Group, you will be part of a growing test team responsible for ensuring the highest quality release for this offering. Responsibilities include working with development, program management and test team members to understand and shape the design of the product, with a focus on enabling automation through test hooks, tools development, integration with existing automation infrastructure and development of new technologies. While your focus will be on development of tools & infrastructure, you will also gain a broad knowledge of the product and become a subject-matter expert on integration points within the product and many of its dependencies.
Qualified candidates meet the following requirements:
4+ years experience in software engineering (C/C++/C# experience preferred)
Deep knowledge of the .NET infrastructure
Very strong debugging and problem analysis skills.
Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services, data base systems, is s plus.
B.A. or higher degree in computer science or related fields.
