We design the architecture, provide operations support, and map out future technology and infrastructure innovation. With one of the largest infrastructure footprints on the planet and Microsoft’s investment in online services including cloud, search, and business services, we’re critical to Microsoft’s long-term success in this market.

Operations Engineers

We are responsible for ensuring maximum service availability (Site-Up), acting as technical subject-matter experts during critical online service outages. Working closely with Operations Center we detect, prioritize and resolve incidents with the servers, network devices and applications that underpin Microsoft’s key online businesses.

Systems Engineers

We’re in charge of supporting hundreds of thousands of production servers 24/7, troubleshooting real-time incidents and outages across large-scale services. That means identifying and documenting common recovery procedures, building and implementing holistic monitoring solutions for varying platforms, and troubleshooting basic network problems such as routing, load balancers and ACLs.

Network Engineers

We are part of a Global Network Services team that develops and delivers network solutions in a large-scale datacenter-driven IP environment. Using modern internet architectures and tools, we’re here to support the global network for the Microsoft Online Services Division, as well as Cloud and Enterprise customers.
